Psychologist and Postpartum Coach
Robyn is a psychologist and postpartum coach who helps new mothers navigate the transition to working parenthood. When she was a new mother, Robyn was overwhelmed with feelings of isolation and depression and wished she had access to someone who could give her emotional support. After fifteen years as a postpartum researcher at Stony Brook University and raising two daughters, she’s passionate about bringing evidence-based strategies and a mother’s common sense to women coping with this major life transition.
Robyn earned a doctorate in health psychology, completed an advanced diploma in coaching at NYU, and is certified in the Bringing Baby Home program which teaches couples how to keep their relationship healthy after a baby is born. Her training and experience make it possible to help Circle4Parents establish their ideal vision of parenthood, family, and work life, and give them the tools to get there.
Robyn developed the Back to Business Maternity Leave Support Programs to take the chaos out of navigating family and work responsibilities so women can feel more in control and less stressed. Her expertise on women, family, and work has appeared in media outlets including, Yahoo Finance, CBS New York, ABC Radio, Fox5News, the Bump, and the Huffington Post.
